We all leave footprints.
In brief, A little white house in Bear Valley, a small community on Highway 49 North, about 10 miles north of the town of Mariposa, the County seat. The Margrave name joined with the Ashworth, Preston, Wass, Tribucco, Westfall, Scott and many other Mariposa families. Edmund Margrave purchased the house in 1894.
Edmund Margrave died in 1900 and Rosa Whealen Margrave died in 1910. Son Fred moved into the house with family. They moved to Oakland in 1918 and sold the house to J.J. Tribucco around 1938.
